An atrium with majestic columns, a rotunda adorned with portraits, refined bedrooms... Château de Moncley embodies all the elegance of the 18th century. Built in 1778 by the architect Claude-Joseph Bertrand, this neoclassical masterpiece was the country residence of the Marquis of Terrier-Santans. Nestling in the heart of the countryside, it boasts sumptuous interiors, with rooms still adorned with Louis XVI wallpaper. An immersive visit, where every detail tells the story of a refined art of living.

Follow in the footsteps of Marnay’s most illustrious lords! This summer, the Val Marnaysien Tourist Office is organising a guided tour of the town every Tuesday morning (except 14 July, 4 August and 18 August – replaced by 21 August). You’ll discover iconic landmarks such as the Hôtel de Santans, the characterful houses, Saint-Symphorien Church, the ‘trajes’ and the castle.
