Château de Cordiron

1 Chemin de la Tour - Cordiron - 25170 BURGILLE
(+33) 06 74 49 33 94
At the entrance to the village of Cordiron, a large defensive tower does not leave visitors without surprises! It dates from 1237 and was built by Étienne, Count of Auxonne, cousin of the Counts of Burgundy. Today, only part of the original buildings remain, notably the once open tower and a main building, linked by a curtain wall and its drawbridge. Several phases of work have enabled the restoration of the stained glass windows and two Gothic fireplaces.
